Red is up and running, and running well enough that I thought I could make it to the car wash to try and rinse some more of the “barn find” feel off.
Apparently I wasn’t the only one with the car wash idea today. Overall things went well, but I had to bag the engine to keep from filling the spark plug wells with the water.
The only down side? Well I couldn’t get everything out. At least it won’t be as gross reaching through the nooks and crannies to do the next round of repairs.
