Someone Call Rufus

We had a most EXCELLENT adventure when we were sentenced to the Iron Maiden….. concert. Of course if they came to Omaha it would have been too easy. The closest they were coming to us was Sioux Falls South Dakota which is about 200 miles north of us. The drive up was pretty uneventful. In fact it was probably one of the easiest drives the Hi-C has ever done.

One gas stop to fill up and we were at the hotel. A very happening place, that obviously draws in a big crowd on a weekday. We spent a bit of time the first night exploring the town and most of the next day doing the same thing. The center of Sioux Falls is a pretty picturesque place to visit. Plenty of new, old, and nature all in the same place. I don’t know if it would be worth the visit all on it’s own, but it’s a great place to travel for an event.

The concert was of course fantastic. There’s a reason Maiden has been around since even before most of my car collection was new on the car lots. Which reminds me. I think my Somewhere In Time CD is still in the Hachi!

I’ve got video as well, but I figured you can probably find plenty of video clips of the Legacy Of The Beast Tour already!
