Bad Fog New Bumper

So a while back I noticed my drivers side fog light was no longer working.  I picked up a new bulb, but found nothing but rust and corrosion when I pulled it apart.  I needed a new fog light housing.  I could throw out $500 for a new one, or source a used one, or probably two since they probably both look the same.  Of course I could always buy the Hella Micro DE lights that some people upgrade to.  At $100 those are actually a pretty good deal, but instead I decided to just get rid of the holes.

It’s been a good bumper, but its time to go.

And its off.  What a strange place to put a bumper reinforcement.

After cutting off the stock bumper mounts and welding on the new pieces.

New bumper mounts installed.

ARB Bumper installed.  Just needs a little adjusting, tightening and the lights, etc installed.  Best of all no more fog light holes staring at me mockingly.
