How About Some Coastal Driving And Maybe Take In A Museum

Labor Day Weekend was here, and we had decided to head down to Ventura on for the Ventura Nationals.  When we were making the move from Southern California to the Bay Area, I swore I would never step tire on I5 again!  In keeping with that idea, we decided to make the drive as we had done a few times before in the Spyder, by sticking to Hwy 1 and 101 where necessary.  Thursday was the drive down, and we took our time stopping occasionally to take in the sites.

Friday morning started with a trip to the Toyota Museum.  Obviously this was a must do for me, I really just can’t believe it took me this long to make the stop.

For Friday night we headed over to the Art Show in Ventura.

The main show was Saturday, and we were back at it with more coverage for Bay Area Auto Scene:

Sunday was the drive home.  We finally took the time to stop by Morro Bay and check out the famous rock.   As much fun as staring at a rock is we eventually had to leave to make sure we were home in time for work on Monday.  It was a nice little get away though!
