I’ve been tempted to buy an umbrella recently, but decided some new t-top seals were probably a better idea.
I ordered up the weatherstripping from Lithia, and got to work once it arrived.
Of course there was a problem. The center section that holds the top in place didn’t come off in great shape. Four out of four attachment points had issues.
I welded some new bolts in place of the two broken ones.
Then drilled a couple holes in each assembly to re “spot weld” them in place. Hopefully the combination fixes my t-top leaks!
