Despite the black spray paint all over this engine, this is a SilverTop 20 Valve 4AGE. It has apparently been installed in an MR2 previously, so the swap should be pretty straight forward. Of course I’ll know more once I sift through the boxes of parts that came with it. At least Red is on the road to recovery after its engine jacking.
