Found The Weak Link

Went for a drive, ended up off road playing around and then snap. We’ve probably all been there, luckily it wasn’t a bad snap, and while driving down the mountain road isn’t much fun with no front sway bar connected, at least we drove home.

I could have picked up a new stock end link, but I had already welded one of these back together, and they are a pretty week design.  It was becoming apparent that these weren’t going to last very long.

I came up with a method for a quick disconnect style of link.  The idea is that the link will be able to be unpinned when you need added flex and allow the suspension to travel independent of each other.  When you get back to the concrete jungle and have to be able to deal with emergency maneuvers on the freeway, they are pinned and work just like an upgraded factory piece.  I can’t wait to see how they work.
