Enkei Aeronautics Refinishing … The Sequel

So you might remember I had a bit of an issue with some Meguiars Wheel Cleaner on my Enkei Wheels.  It took a bit of effort, but I was finally able to speak with someone at Meguiar’s about the issue.  Long story short this has happened one other time, and they did finally agree to fix the wheels.  I didn’t have time to do the work myself so I dropped them off at Rennwerks for dismounting and talked to The Great Auto Paint about doing the paint work.  Since they were so close to each other Alex the owner agreed to pick them up from Rennwerks when they were ready.

A few progress pics that Alex sent to me during the progress.

The wheels were done quickly and turned out good.  My only complaint was that nobody pulled the valve stems out before painting, or cleaned off all of the residue from the previous weights.

Once the wheels were done at paint the made their way back to Rennwerks to have the tires re mounted and balanced.  I gave them a few extra days to dry to make sure the paint was a hard as possible before the install.  As usual Rennwerks managed to put the tires on without issue.

The difference in the cars look is like night and day with the wheels back.
