Yep, that stupid plastic wire holder is almost always broken. Somewhere in its previous life someone had done the electrical tape “fix” to the AE86. I can’t really fault them too much on this as its hard to find one of these in good shape. Then one day it happened. I was looking through boxes of old harnesses and I stumbled across one in good shape. Sure its a little scratched up in places, but its still soft and pliable, and best of all doesn’t have holes in it. I’m calling it a win!
