When a vehicle lasts this long (207k) weird shit starts to wear out. Before we put another five thousand miles on it over the course of the upcoming Christmas trip, I wanted to fix a couple of minor annoyances.
The drivers side seat has been showing some wear lately. Luckily the fabric has survived pretty well, and the foam is still available from Mr T. The repair process is fairly easy. You just have to bend some hog rings and remove the cover.
Even easier was the new brake pedal cover. For the price of a fast food burger its not worth risking that you’ll slip off the brake pedal at the wrong time.
That’s two steps closer to being on the road for the Christmas trip!
